Frequently asked questions

What to know before construction starts.

These answers explain our role, what information we work from and what helps a nature playground project move towards site.

What do you build?

We construct nature playgrounds and their specified landscape elements for schools, childcare centres and public spaces. The exact construction scope is taken from the approved drawings, schedules and project requirements.

Do you provide the playground design?

We are primarily the construction partner rather than the lead design consultant. We build from documentation prepared by a landscape architect or playground consultant, or from an established pre-designed playground plan.

What if we do not have plans yet?

The project will first need a suitable design pathway. That may mean appointing a landscape architect or playground consultant, or selecting an appropriate pre-designed plan. We can join the project once there is enough information to review buildability and construction scope.

Can you work with our existing consultant?

Yes. We coordinate construction questions with the client, landscape architect, playground consultant and other project partners while respecting their design responsibility.

What should we send for pricing?

Send the available drawings, specifications, schedules, site information, required program and any procurement documents. We can then identify whether anything material is missing or needs clarification.

Can you upgrade an existing playground?

Yes, where there is a clear plan and scope covering what will be retained, removed and constructed. Existing access, levels, services and interfaces need to be considered before work begins.

How much does construction cost?

Cost depends on the supplied scope, site conditions, access, materials, structures, surfacing, planting, services, program and project requirements. Plans and site information are needed for a meaningful price.

How long does construction take?

The program depends on documentation, approvals, procurement, material lead times, site access, staging and the construction scope. These need to be reviewed before a realistic program can be agreed.

Can the construction be staged?

Yes, where the drawings and scope clearly define each stage and allow the completed areas to operate safely alongside future work.

Do you work outside Perth?

Perth is the confirmed target market for this website. Any wider service area should only be published once the company confirms where it can genuinely deliver.
